This proposed rezoning is an agricultural preservation area of the Town of Blue Mounds. <br /> The parcels have to be zoned A-2 since they are less than 35 acres.However,the A-2 Agriculture Zoning District <br /> would permit a single family residence on each parcel if zoned. It is very questionable whether single family homes <br /> should be permitted at this location. <br /> This area is not planned for any urban development. The area north of USH 18/151 and east of STH 78 is within <br /> the Mt.Horeb urban service area;however,urban services have not been extended to this area since urban <br /> development has not proceeded this far west.Thus,there does not appear to be any plans for additional urban <br /> development or addition to the urban service area at this time. <br /> If the A-2 parcels are rezoned,they should probably be conditionally rezoned to preclude any residential <br /> development in this area. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH (septic, etc.) <br /> None <br /> DANE COUNTY HIGHWAY <br /> None <br /> OTHER <br />
