We have lived on our farm for the pr:•st 44 yrs. <br /> Our interest is mostly in the area•of keeping our farms <br /> rural. We see more and more homes built in the woods <br /> and Caro that our woods need to be protected. <br /> If Dane Co. makes rezoning the norm we think more <br /> petitions will be forthcoming with more wooded are.;s <br /> becoming things of the past. There is a firmer in the <br /> a.re:;. already planning on building in his wood:: if this <br /> petition goes through. <br /> We believe the York Heights area was built up <br /> before York Township had the 35 acre stipulation in <br /> force, and the lots were sold to recoupe money for a <br /> Pcrm Credit Service because of a farm bankruptcy.
