•
COMPOSITE REPORT - Page 2 APPLICATION NO.
STAFF COMMENTS
REGIONAL PLANNING
Revised Petition 6869. This is a proposed electrical contractor business and not a landscape
contractor as originally stated on the notice. The following policy applies:
Only commercial uses clearly needed to support agricultural production may be
permitted to rezone in designated agricultural preservation areas. Also small
family-owned and operated businesses that provide a service to the community may
be permitted with any restriction deemed necessary by the Town Board. Only that
portion of land necessary for the contemplated use will be rezoned if all other
policies are met.
Revised Staff Comments
The electrical contractor business is often needed in support of agricultural production and
apparently is proposed to be a small business (one truck) providing service to the community.
Because of the proximity to Garfoot Creek, there probably should be a site plan for the building
and an erosion control plan to protect the water quality of the creek.
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH (septic, etc.)
DANE COUNTY HIGHWAY
OTHER
