The northern RH-1 parcel along Mathewson Road appears reasonably consistent with adopted <br /> plans. <br /> The two proposed lots to the south at Curtiss and Derby Roads were part of an area recently removed from the <br /> Mazomanie urban service area to allow for expansion of the USA to the west. The rationale for removing this area <br /> from the urban service area was that nearly all of the 33 homes in this area are built on large lots,usually two <br /> acres. These scattered homes cannot be served efficiently by public sanitary sewer since a lift station would be <br /> required to pump wastewater under Black Earth Creek, and the wide floodplain of the creek is situated between the <br /> majority of these residences and the village's public utilities. <br /> Thus,these sites are not in the urban service area and it appears logical to rezone them to RH-1 and RH-2 as has <br /> been done with all of the rest of this area to the west. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH (septic. etc.) <br /> None <br /> DANE COUNTY HIGHWAY <br /> None <br /> OTHER <br />
