21 Torrey Pines Court D <br /> Madison,WI 53717 i <br /> August 1, 1995 AUG - 7 <br /> Dane County Zoning Administrator at PLANNING&DEVELOPMENT <br /> Room 114, City-County Building ZONING DIVISION <br /> Madison,WI 53709 <br /> RE: Rezoning Petition# I07,915 <br /> Dear Sir or Madam: <br /> Very recently, I discovered that due to a surveying problem, the legal description originally included with <br /> the above-referenced rezoning petition was in error. The legal description originally provided did not <br /> accurately describe the portion of land intended to be rezoned to R-1 —it was in the wrong location. At the <br /> time I discovered the error, the petition had been approved by the local town planning committee and the <br /> County ZNR committee, and was scheduled for County Board action on July 27. <br /> Upon discovering this, I immediately telephoned Mr. Lyman Anderson to advise him. He arranged for the <br /> County Board action to be delayed until the August meeting pending amendment of the petition. <br /> The corrected legal description is attached,and has been reverified with another survey. <br /> I would like to emphasize that this amendment is not a change in the location of the parcel to be rezoned. <br /> Rather, it is a change in the legal description such that it correctly describes the parcel that was to be <br /> rezoned all along. <br /> I have advised Diane McCallum of the Rutland Town Planning board, and she could see no reason for that <br /> board to review the change, as it is only a technical correction. <br /> Please advise me if you require any additional information.
