This proposed farm equipment repair site is on an existing residential <br /> parcel in an agricultural preservation area of the Town of Cottage Grove. <br /> While such a use--farm equipment repair--can be helpful in an agricultural area, we note that there is a <br /> single family residence on the R-1A parcel to the south and a large residential subdivision to the west. <br /> If this site is approved for rezoning, it should have a specific site plan for the placement of the building <br /> to be used for the repairs, and screening of any equipment not kept inside the building. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH (septic, etc.) <br /> None <br /> DANE COUNTY HIGHWAY <br /> CTH"N"is a controlled access highway. Parcel apparently has an existing private entrance and will <br /> require a change of use to commercial. This access is located at end of 55 mph design vertical curve <br /> and has questionable stopping sight distance. (See attached copy of map,plan and vertical curve.) <br /> OTHER <br /> None <br />
