ttirn of 1! ntla <br /> DANE COUNTY, WISCONSIN <br /> OFFICE OF THE CLERK <br /> 4177 Old Stage Road <br /> Brooklyn, WI 53521 <br /> June 11 , 1996 <br /> Mr. Norb Scribner <br /> Dane County Land Records <br /> Room 116 City County Building <br /> Madison, WI 53709 <br /> Dear Norb; <br /> The Rutland Town Board has asked that a letter be written to <br /> express our support of the granting of a Waiver of Section <br /> 75. 19 (6) (b) requirement for a 66 foot road frontage for the <br /> Byron Kenyon property. This variance would allow a second <br /> parcel on the Kenyon property. <br /> At the regular Planning Commission meeting held on June 3 ; <br /> 1996 , the commission recommended to the Town Board that the <br /> Town should support the variance as it was felt that the <br /> existing 33 foot driveway was grandfathered in. The Town <br /> Board, at its regular meeting held on June 4 , 1996, accepted <br /> this recommendation of the concept and authorized this letter <br /> of support of the variance (waiver) request . <br /> Although Mr. Brian Durtschi , agent for Mr. Kenyon, has made <br /> a good faith effort to obtain additional land from adjoining <br /> property owners , this has not been achieved. The Town Land <br /> Use Plan allows the creation of the second parcel . <br /> You advised me during a recent discussion about this matter <br /> that it would he placed on the agenda of the next county <br /> meeting on June 25 , 1996 . Mr. Durtschi has expressed a <br /> desire to have a member of the Town Board at this meeting; <br /> however, the Town has also scheduled a public hearing for <br /> this date making it impossible for someone from the Town to <br /> appear. Mr. Durtschi may prefer to delay this being placed <br /> on the agenda .
