To: Westport Town Board and Planning Commission <br /> We are submitting a map and letter to start the process <br /> for rezoning. The parcel of land we own is in section 10 , town <br /> of Westport and contains 18 . 81 acres . <br /> We use part of the land for our landscaping business . We <br /> also have an existing building of the parcel which we use for our <br /> business known as, Sparby's Christmas Barn. The Christmas Barn <br /> is a unique store in which we sell Christmas ornaments . We have <br /> ornaments from many different countries as well as different <br /> states . <br /> We are requesting CtE zoning to expand our Christmas <br /> theme, on the land behind our Christmas Barn. We want to build a <br /> theme park with walking trails , leading to differnt country <br /> stores . We have a colored map, which we will be presenting at <br /> the May 15th meeting, that will give you a better idea of what we <br /> want to do. <br /> We have gone and talked to Steve Reynold's at County <br /> Zoning and he suggest going to C-Z zoning and that particularly <br /> zoning would cover everything we want to do. We also realize <br /> that C-Z zoning allows for many things and we have no objections <br /> to restricting the zoning to just what we need. <br /> We have been before the previous board and have gotten <br /> their approval , but we failed to finish the process . <br /> If you have any questions before the meeting, please do <br /> not hesitate to give us a call .
