. 4 • <br /> To,: Dane County Zoning and Natural Resources Committee, <br /> We would like to apply for a conditional use permit for the following <br /> items. <br /> 1 . ) amusement park- which would consist of a merri-go-round, <br /> a miniature train and a miniature golf course. <br /> 2 . ) We would like to be able to have outdoor craft shows . <br /> 3 . ) We would like to put lites up for nite time operations . <br /> 4 . ) We, would like to sell soup and sandwiches . <br /> We own and operate Sparby ' s Christmas Barn, located at 5285 Hwy "19" , <br /> in Section 10 of the Town of Westport. The store is situated on 19 <br /> acres of land, that we are in the process of rezoning to C-2 ( zoning <br /> petition 6329 ) . <br /> We want to build separate stores on the C-2 parcel . These stores will <br /> display various Christmas themes, from other countries . The stores <br /> will be at different locations on the property. We would like to <br /> build a park around these stores for the people to have a relaxing and <br /> enjoyable time, while they shop at the various stores . <br /> There would be walking paths to thestores and also a miniature train <br /> ( in the future) that would give rides aroung the park and to the stores . <br /> The merri-go-round and miniature golf course would be for the kids and <br /> people, who didn ' t want to shop. Operating hours would be from 9 : 00 <br /> A.M. to 9 : 00 P.M. and we would need the lites, to lite the pathways and <br /> and miniature golf course. <br /> We would run the outdoor craft shows, from April to November and would <br /> anticipate having about 12 of them. These would be your smaller craft <br /> shows, flea market, etc . . Along with this we may have live entertain- <br /> ment, while the craft shows are going on. This could be anything from <br /> a couple of clowns to a small band. <br /> We would like to be able to serve soup and sandwiches to thepeople that <br /> come to shop and the people that come to just take a leisurely stroll <br /> thru the park. <br /> We, also own a landscaping business and will use this expertise to en- <br /> hance the park, with trees and bushes .
