This proposed trucking site expansion is within the Cambridge urban service area; <br /> however,no urban services are proposed. The relevant policy for this site is: "Unsewered residential or <br /> commercial development should not be permitted in areas where towns have planned future sewered <br /> development." <br /> One of the basic reasons for urban service areas is to develop urban uses with the necessary urban <br /> infrastructure in place. This proposal is to develop with private on-site systems,which will require <br /> more expensive retrofitting of public utilities in the future. <br /> This petition has virtually the same facts as petition 6296,the 10-acre parcel to the northeast,which <br /> was approved in July after a public hearing in June 1995. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH (septic, etc.) <br /> None. <br /> DANE COUNTY HIGHWAY <br /> None. <br /> OTHER <br /> None. <br />
