• <br /> • <br /> ZONING PETITION # <br /> July 3, 1995 <br /> TO: Town of Westport <br /> Dane County Zoning and Natural Resources Committee <br /> I am requesting that you approve a rezoning from A-1 to C-1 of 600 <br /> square feet of the attached parcel I own along C.T.H. "Q" in the <br /> Town of Westport so that I can enter into a lease with Adams <br /> Outdoor Advertising, Inc. for the purpose of constructing an <br /> advertising road graphic on my property. This is not a land <br /> division, but simply a rezoning of this small area to allow a sign <br /> to be built. <br /> The sign would be 12 ' by 25' or a total of 300 square feet and <br /> would be built on one pole which would be 18 ' in height from grade <br /> to the bottom of the sign. Therefore, the sign would be built to <br /> a height of 30' above the center line of C.T.H. "Q". The sign will <br /> comply with all design and intersection requirements of the County <br /> to ensure safety. In addition, the sign will be carefully <br /> maintained by Adams Outdoor Advertising to make sure that this fits <br /> in with the rural environment. <br /> The lease will provide that no advertising be permitted that would <br /> promote alcohol or tobacco products in any way. <br /> Attached is a scale drawing of the proposed rezone area.
