This proposed day care center is in a residential area within the Stoughton urban service <br /> area. However,there is no public sewer or water service to the site according to the Stoughton City <br /> Engineer. <br /> This is an existing house in an existing residential area, with a public school to the south. There is no <br /> specific requirement for such a use to be on public sewer. The use appears reasonably compatible if <br /> limited to 18 children as requested. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH (septic. etc.) <br /> According to our records this premises is served by a private sewage system. The operation of a day <br /> care with up to 18 children would have a significant impact on the water use in this dwelling. A <br /> thorough review of the existing private sewage system will be required per Wisconsin Administrative <br /> Code DILHR 83.055. <br /> DANE COUNTY HIGHWAY <br /> None. <br /> OTHER <br /> None. <br />
