(tqf \VA • <br /> Dear, Committee Members , 9/11/95 <br /> My name is Diane Cresson, I live at 1524 W. South St . directly <br /> across from Fox Prairie Elementary School . I have been in the Daycare <br /> field for over 13 years . I am currantly operating a sucessful State <br /> Licensed Family Daycare known as Rainbow of Dreams for the past 22 yrs . <br /> I am asking for a Conditional Use Permit so I can further help the <br /> growing Community around Fox Prairie and the rest of the Stoughton area . <br /> With being a Family Daycare I am allowed to have 8 children at one time <br /> which I am following, but I have 14 children enrolled at this time with <br /> part-time children sharing spots . I receive 1 to 2 calls per month on <br /> an average from people looking for child care just by word of mouth. I <br /> haven ' t had to advertise in about 11/2 years .According to State License <br /> with the square footage space I have for daycare which is 648 sq. feet <br /> I am allowed to have 18 children at one time if I were to become a <br /> Group Daycare. <br /> Our property is a raised ranch home , with the lower level <br /> being used as the Center, with a separate entrance . My husband and I <br /> live in the upper part of the house. The business is located at the <br /> corner of W. South St . and Prospect Ln . , with an entrance on both streets . <br /> With having the 2 entrances , parents are able to drive in for drop off <br /> and pick up of their children and drive out the other entrance without <br /> backing into the street . My driveway is big enough for 3 or 4 parents <br /> to drop off or pick up at the same time , if this were to happen, which <br /> it hasn ' t happen yet . Because of the space I have parents don ' t have to <br /> park on the street, this also ensures the safety for all the children <br /> at the Center as well as the Neighborhood . <br /> If my center becomes a Group Daycare I will be hiring 1 to 2 <br /> qualified Daycare workers . I have parking space for the staff next to <br /> my garage which will not block the driveway or the childrens rluY areas . <br /> In closing I would like to say that I wish for this permit <br /> so I can expand my services to the Community.
