COMPOSITE REPORT -Page 2 APPLICATION NO. 6413/1285 <br /> STAFF COMMENTS <br /> REGIONAL PLANNING <br /> Petition 6413/CUP 1285. This proposed horse boarding and riding stable is on an existing Rural <br /> Homes parcel in an Agricultural Preservation Area of the Town of Dunn. <br /> While the keeping of horses is generally compatible,the CUP covers only a three-acre area, while the <br /> entire RH-3 zoned site is nearly 21 acres. Since no DED is requested, we assume the 21-acre parcel <br /> would remain intact. <br /> To justify a site for 20 horses,it would be less confusing to zone the entire site A-2 and thus eliminate <br /> the need for unlimited livestock. <br /> There needs to be a site plan showing access off Tower Road,buildings,parking, arenas and potential <br /> show areas. <br /> There needs to be some sensitivity to the land to the north where additional residences can be built and <br /> to the houses to the south along Tower Road. <br /> Dane County Highway <br /> None <br /> Other <br /> None. <br />
