This proposed commercial trucking site appears to conflict with several provisions of <br /> the adopted town/county plan for the Town of Deerfield. <br /> On the plan map, this site is in an agricultural preservation district, within a village-centered growth <br /> area. This area functions similar to a transition area, where the intent is for it to remain agricultural until <br /> the area is added to the urban service area. The area north of London Road is in the urban service area, <br /> while the area to the south is not. <br /> The more detailed Village Centered Growth Area map shows this area as a"Non-Commercial <br /> Community Entryway." We note that the C-2 area to the north for the farmers' coop and the town hall <br /> existed prior to the plan adoption in 1993. <br /> Rezoning this area commercial, without amendment to the plan, clearly conflicts with policy. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH (septic, etc.) <br /> No Comment. <br /> DANE COUNTY HIGHWAY <br /> No Comment. <br /> OTHER <br /> None <br />
