Franz & Cindy Jaggi
1972 Oakwood View Drive
Verona, WI 53593
November 11, 1994
Dane County Zoning Department
Room 116, City-County Building
Madison, WI 53709
Dear Members of the Committee:
This letter is written in regard to the Application for Conditional Use Permit:
C.U.P. # 1200 By: Ernest Scheele
Proposed Use: limited family business - motor vehicle repair
Location: at 1962 Oakwood View Drive
Section: 26 Town: Springdale Area: 2.0 Acres
We are strong supporters of small business and the entrepreneurial spirit. Our parents
have both operated small businesses in southern Wisconsin. One of the advantages of
many small businesses is that they can be operated out of the home, which greatly
reduces the overhead costs that burden the small business owner. Even though this is an
advantage to the small business, it may not be an advantage to the neighborhood in which
it resides. The marriage between the small business and the neighborhood must be one
that is good for both parties. We live next door to Ernie and he is a great neighbor. We
are in support of the approval for the application for a conditional use permit with one
condition. That condition is limiting the number of cars that are parked out of doors to a
reasonable number, preferably 5. If the number is any higher, it starts to put a blemish on
our beautiful, residential neighborhood.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at(608) 832-6366.
Thank you for your consideration:
1/1-64-vs, V>662/ Ocrt. 47 c.
Franz M.
