Reason For Rezoning This Parcel: <br /> Eric & Margery Stokstad plan to sell this 40.7 acre parcel off of their 120 <br /> acre farm on Highway B in the town of Pleasant Springs. the prospective <br /> buyer would not farm the cropland, but rent it back to Stokstads. The <br /> petition is to rezone a 4 acre parcel off of the 40.7 acres to RH2 for one <br /> residential home site; with the balance of the parcel left in Al Exclusive. <br /> This is a mostly wooded parcel and would only take minimal land out of <br /> cropland for the driveway. The local County Road official (Paul Zuehli) <br /> has been to the site and given his approval for the driveway access. <br /> Also, the Pleasant Springs Planning Commission Chairman Richard Green <br /> has toured the property and given a verbal approval of the proposed change <br /> subject to going through the normal channels and procedures to obtain this <br /> rezoning.
