This proposed rezoning appears to conflict with the density of one dwelling unit <br /> for 35 acres of the adopted town/county plan in the Town of Deerfield. This area was previously <br /> divided from the farm, and the maximum allowable density was reached. <br /> There is a provision for consideration of such proposals; however, "The town Board shall <br /> determine, on a case-by-case basis, if proposed conversions of agricultural lands to densities <br /> greater than one dwelling unit per 35 acres meet all of the Agricultural Preservation District <br /> policies, standards, and criteria."
