JUSTIFICATION FOR ZONING CHANGE
Myron and Betty Timm have accepted an offer to purchase
their forty-nine acre farm located in Section 21 in the Town of
Windsor. (Legal Description: Part of the SE 1/4 and the SW 1/4
of the NW 1/4 of Section 21, T9N, R10E, Town of Windsor. ) The
offer is contingent upon obtaining a zoning change to accomodate
the buyer' s business. Presently the land is zoned Agricultural.
This request is to have a portion of the land rezoned A-B
Agribusiness. See attached plat of survey. Portion labelled
"Parcel A" is the portion requested to be rezoned.
The buyer is Eurovet, Inc. , who wishes to use the farm for
producing, mixing and blending products related to animal
nutrition products. Eurovet' s basic products take cow
collostrum, the milk produced just after giving birth, and add
vitamins and trace minerals. The resulting products are used by
farmers to supplement farm animals' diets. Eurovet, Inc. is the
United States sister company to Osmonds, a British company which
has been producing animal health and nutrition products since
1854 .
The production, mixing, and bottling may be done on site or
the products may be shipped in and bottled only. At this time
Eurovet envisions this location to be a wholesale operation,
selling to distributors who in turn sell to farmers. However,
future plans may include the testing of animals and a retail
outlet.
1
