This
offer is contingent upon the rezoning of the property from Al
Exclusive to AB Agri-Business. It has come to our attention that
the Village of DeForest objects to the proposed rezoning. ' s business on the Town of Windsor property
will not drastically change the nature of the property as it is
being used today. Eurovet processes agricultural products to be
used in agriculture. Eurovet, Inc. ' s business is very similar to
a farmer who would grow grain and package it for distribution to
other farmers for feed, the difference being that Eurovet
purchases the materials from farmers as well. The business is
integrally tied to agriculture and will benefit agriculture in
this community.
It appears that one of the Village's major objections is
that we are asking to have the eastern ten acres of the property
rezoned rather than a smaller portion. Ten acres was chosen
because it reduced the cost of the survey, not because Eurovet
planed expansion along highway 51. If the ten acre parcel is
unacceptable, Eurovet would consider rezoning a smaller parcel.
However, if a new survey is required or a new application must be
submitted, the parties will be required to expend significant
