He is seeking a <br /> permit to build a 32-unit efficiency apartment complex on property zoned <br /> C-1 in Arbor Hills. <br /> About a week ago, I received a notice from the Town of Madison that <br /> the Town Board of Supervisors will hold its public hearing on January 9, <br /> 1995 - one day prior to yours (attached). <br /> We have just finished gathering information on C.U.P. #1219 and <br /> have yet to review the documents. Nevertheless, we find that a mere 24 <br /> hours between public hearings is insufficient time to react, 'if necessary, <br /> to the actions taken by the Town Board ,- especially since Mr. Lund has <br /> asked your committee to act on his request the same night of the public <br /> hearing. <br /> We note that Mr. Lund intends to start his project, if approved, on <br /> May 1, 1995. Time constraints, therefore, do not apprear to be an issue <br /> on his part. <br /> On behalf of the Executive Board, I respectfully request that the <br /> Dane County public hearing on this issue be delayed until February 14, <br /> 1995. <br /> Thank you for your consideration of our request.
