Description of Requested Change
We would like to rezone the 40-acre parcel from "Al-
Exclusive" to "Recreation" which we understand to be
designated as "RE-l. " MAYSA intends to develop the
parcel for youth soccer fields with related improvements
such as parking, landscaping and restrooms. MAYSA will
strive to develop appropriate landscaping andScReaning,
both for aesthetic reasons and to shield the perimeter of
the fields from wind and neighboring parcels. MAYSA has
worked closely with the Dane County Parks Department in
connection with this project and believes that it has the
strong support of the Parks Department for this
recreational use.
