Kornstedt
V CORPORATION COUNSEL
11111 SCON
TO: Jim Gregorious, Zoning Administrator
FROM: Cal Kornstedt, Corp a i
RE: Gary Dahl deed restrictions
DATE: September 28,1995
This will confirm my advice to you relative to this situation. You should require Mr.
Dahl to record his deed restrictions within the 90 day time limit for doing so and these
should be exactly as the county board passed them. Assuming that Mr. Dahl accomplishes
a timely recording of these deed restrictions, he will then have 120 days within which to
transfer by CSM a parcel of land to the Town of Madison. The 120 day period does not
begin to run until the correct deed restrictions are properly recorded.
There was some discussion between ourselves and with Norb Scribner reference the
need for accuracy and completeness in the deed restrictions. These are important legal
documents and they must be accurate and specific. The ZNR Committee should carefully
scrutinize these and require amendments where necessary.
zon981
Room 419, City-County Building, 210 Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, Madison, Wisconsin 53709 608/266-4355
