This <br /> property was the home of a commercial research facility for <br /> several years operated by owner where edible, medical and <br /> building products of various types were researched, developed, <br /> manufactured, stored and distributed by the owner. <br /> Currently, the facility is being occupied by the owner, who has <br /> been personally involved in the research and development of <br /> agricultural, engineering and building systems for many years. <br /> The subject parcel has, since 1986, been the site of a <br /> multi-room/office/storage/distribution facility consisting of a <br /> 43,000 square foot concrete foundation building, which is <br /> intended to be used by the owner for purposes of the owner, and <br /> for the uses described above. <br /> Petitioner does not assert that rezoning is necessary and, in <br /> - 2 - <br />
