The site is located in parts of Sections 23 and 26.
T. 8N. , R. 9E. , Dane County, Wisconsin.
Mr. William Sande from our Waukesha field office visited 1h
site on May 23 , 2001, and determined the delineation shown on tn•.se
enclosure represents the approximate upland/wetland boundary for
purposes of determining the U.S . Army Corps of Engineers
jurisdictional line. The jurisdictional delineation shown is
based on the Corps of Engineers Wetlands Delineation Manual
(1987) and is valid for a period no longer than five years from
the date of this letter. Unless this jurisdictional delineation
has been specifically reconfirmed by the Corps of Engineers
during the five-year period, it shall automatically expire. Ary
reliance upon the attached delineation beyond that time frame may
lead to incorrect planning and design efforts, as well as
possible violation of current Federal laws and/or regulations .
You may ask us to revalidate or update the jurisdictional
delineation as appropriate for your project duration. Any
revalidation or updating will then reflect current Federal 1.awei
and regulations.
The delineated-wetlands are regulated by the U.S . Army Corp
of Engineers pursuant to Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Acc
of 1899 and/or Section 40i of the Clean Water Act of 1977 . a ,v
construction activities in these areas may require Department f.
the Army authorization. Other Federal, State, or local permits
may also be required.
You are cautioned that work performed below the ordinary
high water mark in waters of the United States, or the discharse
of dredged or fill material into wetlands, without a Department
of the Army permit could subject you to enforcement action.
Receipt of a permit from the State Department of Natural
Resources does not obviate the requirement for obtaining a
Department of the Army permit.
posses Cit Recycled Poaer
