•
/ 38
February 27, 1994
Dane County Zoning
Room 116
City-County Building
Madison, WI. 53709
Re: Conditional Use Permit Request: Tax Parcel 19-0708-323-9140-3
Mound View Road, Town of Middleton
To Whom It May Concern:
This is the letter of transmittal for the request for a Conditional Use Permit by Amy and
Douglas Hennig on the above referenced property. The property is currently zoned
agricultural and is approximately 2 acres in size. The purpose of the request for
Conditional Use is to obtain approval to attach a "Mother-in-law apartment" to the
proposed single family home. The apartment would be occupied by Amy's mother who
was recently widowed. Amy is the only daughter, no other children live in the area. It is
our goal to create a quality living environment which allows Amy's mother to maintain her
privacy and independence during her retirement years and support our collective belief
in the value and benefits of the extended family. This issue has important personal
implications for family and we appreciate your consideration.
Proposed Use
Amy and Douglas Hennig are proposing to construct a single family home with attached
living quarters for Amy's mother. The house is approximately 3200 s.f. with an attached
3 car garage. The apartment is approximately 1200 s.f. and is attached to the garage and
connected to the house.
Development Schedule
Construction is projected to begin in late spring or early summer with completion in 6
months.
