RODNEY HELT Page 2 2/27/2007 Reminders • IBC 305.1 This building is an Education Group E occupancy for educational purposes in 12th grade or under. • IBC 305.2 A building is a Group E use if there are more than 5 but less than 100 children age 2 1/2 or less,they are located on the exit discharge floor and each room has an exit to the exterior. • IBC 803.4 Interior wall and ceiling finishes shall meet classification C in Table 803.4 for E occupancy. • IBC 1003.3.1.9 Provide panic hardware from an occupancy of Group E with an occupant load of 100 or more. • IBC 2304.9.1 Connections for wood members shall be as set forth in Table 2304.9.1,unless more are required. A copy of the approved plans,specifications and this letter shall be on-site during construction and open to inspection by authorized representatives of the Department,which may include local inspectors.If plan index sheets were submitted in lieu of additional full plansets,a copy of this approval letter and index sheet shall be attached to plans that correspond with the copy on file with the Department.All permits required by the state or the local municipality shall be obtained prior to commencement of construction/installation/operation. If this construction project will disturb one or more acres of land,an Erosion Control Notice of Intent(NOI)shall be filed with the department 14 days prior to any earth disturbing activities. In granting this approval the Division of Safety&Buildings reserves the right to require changes or additions should conditions arise making them necessary for code compliance.As per state stats 101.12(2),nothing in this review shal - ieve the designer of the responsibility for designing a safe building,structure,or component.
