RODNEY HELT Page 2 2/27/2007 <br /> Reminders <br /> • IBC 305.1 This building is an Education Group E occupancy for educational purposes in 12th grade or under. <br /> • IBC 305.2 A building is a Group E use if there are more than 5 but less than 100 children age 2 1/2 or less,they <br /> are located on the exit discharge floor and each room has an exit to the exterior. <br /> • IBC 803.4 Interior wall and ceiling finishes shall meet classification C in Table 803.4 for E occupancy. <br /> • IBC 1003.3.1.9 Provide panic hardware from an occupancy of Group E with an occupant load of 100 or more. <br /> • IBC 2304.9.1 Connections for wood members shall be as set forth in Table 2304.9.1,unless more are required. <br /> A copy of the approved plans,specifications and this letter shall be on-site during construction and open to <br /> inspection by authorized representatives of the Department,which may include local inspectors.If plan index sheets <br /> were submitted in lieu of additional full plansets,a copy of this approval letter and index sheet shall be attached to <br /> plans that correspond with the copy on file with the Department.All permits required by the state or the local <br /> municipality shall be obtained prior to commencement of construction/installation/operation.
