Pending further comments at the public hearing, this petition appears reasonably <br /> consistent with adopted plan policies. <br /> This clay extraction site was reviewed and approved in 1989; however, the purchase and <br /> removal did not proceed. Now the application is for clay removal on the same parcel as well as <br /> additional land to the south. <br /> If similar conditions to those applied for 1989 are used, the impacts of the clay removal can be <br /> minimized. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH (septic, etc.) <br /> DANE COUNTY HIGHWAY <br /> C.U.P. 1132. CTH "N" is controlled access in this area. The <br /> parcel currently has one recognized field driveway, however a <br /> change-of-use permit is required and applicant-funded geometric <br /> improvements at the access point will likely be a condition of <br /> any approval.
