Michael Blaska, Chair <br /> Dane County Board of Supervisors <br /> Room 118 <br /> 210 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. <br /> Madison, WI 53703 <br /> RE: Appeal by Mark DuPre of Conditional use Permit #1132 <br /> for Mineral Extraction, Town of Cottage Grove <br /> Dear Chairman Blaska: <br /> I filed an appeal of conditional use permit #1132 on behalf <br /> of Mark DuPre/Need Lettuce Company. <br /> I have also initiated discussions/negotiations with the Dane <br /> County Department of Public Works that may result in an agreement <br /> between DPW and my client that would alleviate his concerns <br /> sufficiently that he could withdraw the appeal. It was necessary <br /> for me to file the appeal because of a 20-day deadline in the <br /> county ordinance. <br /> I am hereby requesting that you not schedule the appeal of <br /> conditional use Permit #1132 on the agenda of the County Board, <br /> at least until your second meeting of July. <br /> I have made a note in my calendar to communicate with you on <br /> Monday, July 11, to report on the status of the discussions and <br /> to indicate whether it would be timely to place the matter on the <br /> County Board agenda at your second meeting in July. <br />
