'"t +• <br /> The Town of Cottage Grove-does not believe you have met the Conditions of the C.U.P. #1: 37-C <br /> and therefore, should not be selling it. <br /> Item 6 states"the land will be kept in grassland/hay production for an initial 5 year period to flow <br /> soil structure to become re-established,and to assure no harmful efie:ts to area groundwater" <br /> How-ever, at present there are cattails growing on it. <br /> Item 7 states, "after this initial period, the reintroduction of a more intense land use such as ro,i- <br /> crop agriculture may be allowed based on soil test results and commi tee approval". To our <br /> knowledge no testing has been done. <br /> Item 8 states. "the Town Board will be notified of any requested charges in land use'. Therz zas <br /> been no notification to the Town. <br /> Item 9 states"soil testing shall include remapping based on soil borings. In addition, test plcot, shall <br /> be done to determine yields on the rebuilt soil so future nitrogen can be closely tied to yield <br /> expectations. Again, to our knowledge, no test plots have been done. <br /> There is also a drainage problem from water coming from under Hwy. N as to where it now a:1pties <br /> out into the field.
