This is an existing machine shop in a building zoned B-1 Local Business in <br /> Paoli. The building was formerly a grocery store and faces a central community park, the <br /> block zoned RE-1 to the west. There is a tavern to the east, the old mill to the north and <br /> single-family homes to the south. <br /> The machine shop is a very heavy use in this central part of the small community of Paoli. <br /> If the C-2 zoning is allowed, it should be conditionally zoned to the machine shop use, which <br /> would require further zoning review prior to another use change. Most C-2 uses would be <br /> incompatible at this location. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH (septic, etc.) <br /> DANE COUNTY HIGHWAY <br /> Petition 5938.
