This proposed division for the purpose of constructing a new duplex appears to <br /> conflict with the town/county policy in Springdale which restricts lot sizes to one acre. <br /> This site is in the community of Mt. Vernon, which is an unsewered development area, and <br /> housing is limited to one- and two-family homes. However, the policy in conflict is: "To <br /> restrict lot sizes to a minimum of one acre." <br /> The total size of the parcel in this petition is 1.1 acre, not the 0.55 acre shown in the petition <br /> information.
