UL 12199
RECEIVED
114.n"10, 1994
Lyman Anderson, Chair
Zoning and Natural Resources Committee
Room 116, City-County Building
Madison, WI 53709
RE: Zoning Petition #6014 By Richard & Lois Keller
Dear Mr. Anderson,
We are writing in opposition to this rezoning petition. As
neighbors and friends of the Keller' s we have no objection to the
sale of the designated property as a one parcel unit. We believe
that the subdivision into three parcels, however, is excessive for
this land.
The land is steeply sloped. The addition of three homes would
adversely impact both this land and adjoining fields as well as
wildlife habitat and the aesthetic quality of the landscape. The
land is located along one of the few remaining rustic roadways.
The placement of three additional residences with associated
driveways would seriously strain the capacity and safety of this
road.
We have no desire to interfere with the Keller' s sale of this
land if it could remain as one unit. We believe, however, that the
subdivision of the land into three separate lots is not in the long
term best interest of the land, the Keller' s, the Town of Perry nor
Dane County.
Si cerely, —
i 4oyce Powers
Rest ration Ecologist
Neighbor and Friend
61-(22
Gary Larsen
Neighbor and Friend
