Jan. 28, 1994
Dear sirs:
This letter is to formally request a conditional use
permit to allow us to sell vegetable produce and possibly
other retail items not grown on our property in the Town
of Black Earth. It is our understanding that we do not
need a permit to sell produce that is grown on-site, and
the bulk of our produce will indeed be grown on-site. We
do not want to preclude selling other vegetables or
products as well, however. C (ye, f 7 fie w,s,)
The only new "construction" that will result from our
produce market will be a driveway. We intend to sell our
product from an existing barn. A driveway already
accesses this barn, but we feel this access is not a safe
turn for people who are headed west on USH 14.
Therefore our neighbor, Town of Black Earth supervisor
Ken Olson, has consented for us to use and improve his
highway access and then extend a driveway from that
point around to our barn/stand. Parking will be in the area
around the barn, and the existing highway access will
provide a safe outlet. (See drawings and statement from
Olson.)
Thank you very much for our consideration,
I
r /N4
John Donaldson,
property owner and proprietor,
Lone Oak Gardens
767-3655 days, 767-3329 evening and weekend
