This proposal for a utility company yard conflicts with the adopted town/county <br /> policies in this part of the Town of Verona where it is an agricultural preservation area, not a <br /> development area. <br /> The area to the north of CTH M is within the Verona urban service area; however, due to the <br /> development staging within that area, urban development is not expected until the year 2010. <br /> When our staff was contacted by WP&L representatives earlier this year, it was suggested that <br /> WP&L contact the commercial park owners further to the north, where urban services and urban <br /> development are expected in 1996. <br /> In addition to being outside the urban service area, this industrial-type use appears incompatible <br /> with adjacent residences. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH (septic, etc.) <br /> DANE COUNTY HIGHWAY <br /> Access to CTH "PB" will only be at the Southeast corner of the property. There is no access to <br /> CTH "M". This was specified as a condition of approving Access Permit #79-3. <br /> OTHER <br />
