OrrICK YFlrr110N13
. n O '`c.3. MM 040 1000
FLOWN OF VIENNA ,
0111,•,i 0+..11 "Eb El V EP
6270 NORWAY MOVE ROAD. MOMS?, WIS. 63532 • I
AUG15
DANE COUNTY
LAND REG. &RECORDS
August 10, 1994
Dane County Zoning Committee
Attn: r. Bill Fleck, Zoning Administrator
City-County Building, Room 116
Madison, Wisconsin 53709-001
Dear Zoning Committee Members,
A Dane County hearing was held on August 9th, 1994. One item
on the adjenda for that meeting was zoning change request
number 6035 by Chris Evans. The change request was a change
from C-1 to C-2 to allow mini-warehouses on that property.
The Town of Vienna had submitted a letter expressing the approval
of the change with a deed restriction to allow only that use
of C-2 if the change were approved.
Prior to Town approval the request was given to the Town Plan
Commission for review and a recommendation. The Plan commission
found the request to meet the Town Plan requirements and the
Commercial plat requirements of that subdivision. Outside
storage, screening , building appearence, and landscape design
are addressed and required in the plat covenent and a part of
the site plan that must be presented prior to a building permit
approval. All issues were discussed and an agreement was signed
by the proposed new owner to follow all requirements.
It was brought to the Town ' s attention that opposition was
presented at the zoning hearing. The Town 'wa5 unaware of those
concerns at our hearing- but feel they were satisfactorily
addressed. Your review of the plat covenent should indicate
that our requirements are severe and offer appearence protection
well above average standards. We continue to support this request
and will require all conditions to be met.
Every attempt will be made to by use to communicate with the
area residents, who expressed concerns, and answer their
questions. Please inform us if you desire additional information.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Robert Pulvermacher
Vienna Town Clerk
