There is no good reason to change to a R-1 zoning except to <br /> promote future development in this rural area . <br /> Do not chanve the town plan ! <br /> The town plan had input from all of the town residents when it was designed and <br /> should be the main criteria for any zoning changes considered by the town board <br /> or planning committee . <br /> It was our tax dollars that paid for the town plan to be designed and it should <br /> be honored by the planning committee and the town board . <br /> The center of the town should be developed first and then work towards the outer <br /> boundaries of the town. <br /> Do not tear up Kirkwood Dr . for any sewer extension ! <br /> Kirkwood Dr . has been torn up two different times in the last five years giving <br /> ample opportunity for sewer to be extended if the town had been approached with <br /> a request for a zoning change at that time . <br /> Do not promote more development. <br /> Extending the sewer will also promote more development in this part of the town <br /> and will make it easier for the next developer to get the approval needed to <br /> extend the sewer further . <br /> This is a list of concerns by one or more of the people who signed this petition <br /> 1 . Adding another road off River Rd . <br /> 2 . This land is farm land regardless of the size . This land has been farmed <br /> every year in the past and should be in the future . 200 thousand plus acres of <br /> farm land has been developed in Wisconsin in the last year and its time to stop <br /> developing this fertile land. <br /> 3 . The loss of trees in the area of development . <br /> 4 . We have no parks in the area and there should be ample land for this before <br /> any more houses are added to this area- <br /> 5 . .Inflated property values due to the inflated cost of lots and inflated <br /> building costs . The cost of putting in a road to match existing roads in <br /> Riverveiw Garden Estates ( and we would hope the town would require this ) with <br /> curb and gutter and asphalt , and extending the sewer for only eight houses will <br /> inflate the cost of all land and property in the area and we don ' t want to be <br /> taxed out of our homes due to eight added homes . <br />
