COMPOSITE REPORT - Page 2 APPLICATION NO. <br /> STAFF COMMENTS <br /> REGIONAL PLANNING <br /> SUPPLEMENTAL COMMENTS - Petition 6071. This proposed soccer field site is partially <br /> within the Ice Age Trail Junction Area Project Plan as adopted by Dane County November 4, <br /> 1993, and partially within the City of Madison Cross Country Neighborhood Development Plan. <br /> The site is currently a clay extraction site being used by the County Public Works Department as <br /> a source for a clay cap on the Verona landfill. When the clay extraction is completed, this <br /> proposal is to create a youth soccer complex of multiple soccer fields. <br /> The proposed soccer complex does conflict with the City's Cross Country Neighborhood <br /> Development Plan as stated in the staff letter of October 11, 1994 to the chair of the Zoning and <br /> Natural Resources Committee. <br /> We note that there has been a request to delay action on this case, which hopefully will allow <br /> time to seek alternate solutions. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH (septic, etc.) <br /> DANE COUNTY HIGHWAY <br /> OTHER <br />
