August 29, 1994
Andrew L. Craven and Christina M. K.Craven
1125 Lawrence Street
Madison, WI 53715
Dane County
Land Regulation and Records
210 Martin Luther King Boulevard
Madison, WI 53703
Re: Request for Re-zoning
Part of the Gerald G. Burns Land in Primrose Township
To Whom it May Concern;
This letter is intended to serve as an application to rezone the parcel further described in the text
of this letter. We are in the process of purchasing this land, and wish to place a single family
dwelling on it in the future. Details of the land are below;
Current Owner - Gerald G. Burns
Size of Parcel - 31.8 acres
Current Zoning - A-1 Exclusive
Current Land Use - 9.20 acres are in corn
22.60 acres are in pasture, of which approximately 4.80 is wooded.
A legal description of the entire parcel is included as Exhibit "A". We are requesting a change
to zoning A-2 for the parcel.
We are enclosing for your review the following items;
1) An aerial photograph (Scale 1" = 400') showing the approximate boundaries of the
property (Shown in red). On this photo we have also shown the approximate location of
the proposed house, as well as the intended route of our driveway (Shown in green). As
you can see, none of the anticipated improvements will impact the land that is currently
in tillage. We have met at the site with the Town of Primrose Board and Planning
Commission, and have been told that this conforms with the current land use plan, and
have received their approval for our intended layout.
2) We are also enclosing a sketch at a slightly larger scale (1" = 200') for your review.
This presents the same information as the aerial photo.
