This is against <br /> good blasting practice according to DIHLR because it dramatically <br /> increased the air shock wave associated with the blast . At 150 <br /> decibels we have learned the fracture of windows is likely. The <br /> commission should be aware that in addition to the window that was <br /> broken on our house, numerous incidents of neighbors replacing <br /> windows can be documented . Also included is Dr . Tom Kratochwill ' s <br /> letter to DIHLR stating that he had complained over a four year <br /> period to Yahara <br /> and nothing had been done. <br /> After monitoring numerous subsequent blasts , DIHLR put Yahara on a <br /> restriction to notify us personally 24-36 hours before the blast , <br /> and within a half hour of the shot detonation (see DIHLR 6\22\89 <br /> correspondence) .
