Mary Spitz recently shared with me a copy of the report <br /> regarding monitoring blasting vibrations from the Ziegler Quarry. <br /> I wanted to write and inform you of the fact that we have called <br /> Yahara Materials several times to complain of the excessive <br /> ® ground vibrations and noise from the blasting in the Ziegler <br /> Quarry. These complaints have been made over a period of four <br /> years . <br /> The last time that I complained of the blasting , an individual <br /> from Yahara materials indicated that he would come to my home and <br /> monitor a future blast , but no one ever arrived or contacted me <br /> subsequently. <br /> Like Mrs . Spitz , I was in my home on April 17 , 1989 and <br /> experienced the blast . Of the many we have experienced over the <br /> past several years , this particular blast was severe and <br /> literally shook the entire house for a few seconds . <br /> In our opinion, our home has sustained damage due to the blasting <br /> operations of Yahara Materials .
