Those present we;e Don Hoffman, <br /> Don Derengowski, Cyril Statz, Charlie Falk, Betty Bromley, Don Endres, and Mark Nolen, <br /> The first order of business was to review and approve the minutes of the June 7, 1993 meeting. <br /> Motion by Don Derengowski, seconded by Charlie Falk and carried. <br /> The second order of business was to review a request by .Paul and Lon Dresen, 7794 <br /> Martinsville Road in regards to a variance to allow for repairs to a garage and an addition to an <br /> existing single family residence. Motion by Charlie Falk, seconded by Don Endres and carried. <br /> The next order of business was to review a request by Don Anderson, represented by Mr. David <br /> Cheney -- land surveyor, to rezone approximately 8 acres of land from A-1 exclusive to RH-3 <br /> to accommodate the construction of one single family residence, Property is located on Hwy. <br /> 19, Dane, WI. Several interested individuals were present and spoke in opposition to the <br /> request. This is the second appearance at the Plan Commission. At the prior meeting, Mr. <br /> Cheney agreed to recommend a home site location on the property, so that interested individuals <br /> could review the matter firsthand. Individuals present at the meeting were not comfortable with <br /> the location. Plan Commission members recommended that a representative from the adjacent <br /> land owners meet with Mr. Cheney and Mr. Anderson. Mr. William Kruchten volunteered to <br /> work with Mr. Anderson in this regard. Motion to table this request by Charlie Falk, subject <br /> to reviewing this matter at the next meeting, seconded by Betty Bromley and carried. <br /> The next order of business was to review a request by Eric and Connie Smith, 7791 Martinsville <br /> Road to provide a variance to allow for an addition to a single family residence located at the <br /> same address. Motion by Don Derengowski, seconded by Don Endres and carried. <br /> The next order of business was to review a request by Robert Anderson, 7064 Hwy. 19 to <br /> subdivide a two acre parcel currently zoned A-1 exclusive into RH-3A to allow for the <br /> construction of a duplex. There is an existing single family residence on the property. Mr. <br /> Anderson shared it was his desire to construct the duplex to accommodate housing for relatives. <br /> Several of the Plan Commission members were not familiar with the site.
