• <br /> • <br /> August 2, 1993 <br /> • <br /> Springfield Planning Commission <br /> Springfield, WI 53597 <br /> Dear Committee Members, <br /> We are writing this letter from the Frosch family in opposition of the Zoning Petition #5697 for the <br /> building of a home for Steve and Kathy Endres. The Endres' are requesting a rezone of 1.3 acres <br /> from A-lEx to R-1A to allow for a buildable site. <br /> Hopefully, all of you have had a chance to view the site. Our question-to you is, "How would you <br /> feel if you were in the same position as us? Would you like it if someone built right next to your <br /> property?" When we built 18 years ago, our builder told us at that time that the land surrounding <br /> our home was all A-1EX and that no one would be able to build on that land. <br /> It seems to us that if the only two property owners (Frosch & McSherry) that would be adjacent to <br /> this new site are opposed to it - then how can they build on it. All we are asking is to consider a site <br /> closer to the farm. (As you all know,a previous site was approved by you, the Planning Commission.) <br /> We are put in a very frustrating situation - that we could talk til we're blue in the face - but yet it <br /> might not do a bit of good. <br /> Please help us in this situation and ask the Endres' to look into a possible alternative site. Put <br /> yourselves in our situation.
