The relevant policy Is: "Non—farm residential development In <br /> Agricultural Preservation Areas will be restricted to land with soils not classified <br /> as prime farmland or farmland of statewide importance providing the lot is one (1 ) <br /> acre or more at a density of one lot per 40 acres within a farm unit and is rezoned <br /> from agriculture. " <br /> Comments on the policy. criteria: <br /> 1 . All of the soils on and surrounding this site are classified as prime farmland <br /> by USDA definition. <br /> 2.
