This proposed mineral extraction site is.in an agricultural preservation area adjacent to an <br /> existing mineral extraction area in the Town of Roxbury. The plan indicates that "Expanded or new sites <br /> may be allowed without amendment to the plan map." <br /> This site is proposed as an extension of an existing large mineral extraction site, maintaining the same <br /> existing access south to USH 12. <br /> The town plan requires the same six conditions as are used for all conditional use permits. The site <br /> appears reasonably consistent with plan requirements for rezoning. <br /> Conditions should include a reclamation plan, an indication of the time period for mining, and requirement <br /> that the existing access be maintained. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPT.
