WIL" ® <br /> EDWARD <br /> KRAEMER <br /> &SONS, <br /> INC. <br /> ADDENDUM TO CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT APPLICATION <br /> MELVIN BALLWEG PROPERTY <br /> June 30, 1993 <br /> Purpose: <br /> To rezone from Ag-1 (Exclusive) to Ag-2 and then obtain a Conditional Use Permit to <br /> allow for nonmetallic mineral extraction operations on a parcel of property owned by <br /> Melvin and Pauline Ballweg (Tax Parcel #25-0907-071-9000-5). The operations that <br /> will commence on this property will be an extension of the existing gravel pit owned <br /> and operated by Lycon, Inc. <br /> Property Description: <br /> The Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of Section 7, Town <br /> 9 North, Range 7 East, Town of Roxbury, Dane County, Wisconsin consisting of <br /> approximately 40 acres. The soils on the property can be classified as 45% Class He <br /> soils and 55% Class Die soils. <br /> Operations: <br /> 1. The proposed operations on this property will consist of the extraction of <br /> sand and gravel and subsequent crushing and sizing of it into marketable <br /> products to supply the area market along with the existing concrete and <br /> aggregate plants of Lycon Inc. <br /> 2. The topsoil and overburden material removed from the sand and gravel <br /> are kept separate and will be stockpiled for future restoration use. <br /> 3. All access to the property will be thru the existing pit with access <br /> directly to Highway 12. <br /> 4. It is estimated that this property will have an operational life of 20+ <br /> years. <br /> 5.
