/ , ,-VN v k, A/1q. c r'cy u� // .2-93 <br /> Motion (Erbach), second (Ziegler), to recommend approval of •C.U.P. f/1100 <br /> with the following conditions: <br /> (1 ) Notice shall be given to area residents by 5-6 p.m. of the day <br /> previous to each planned blasting; <br /> (2 ) One or more portable seismographs and at least one permanently- <br /> placed seismograph shall be utilized by Wingra in the Hillside Hghts. area <br /> before each blast in order to monitor the potential impact of each blast on <br /> the neighborhood. <br /> (3) Wingra's blasting, excavating and crushing activities in the area <br /> controlled by C.U.P. #1100 shall be 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays through <br /> Fridays only. <br /> (4 ) Spray bars shall be used on all crushing machinery. <br /> (5 ) Rock shall be extracted no closer than 300 foot from the south and <br /> west boundaries of the Wingra property, with the exception that Wingra may opt <br /> to extract within the west 300-foot buffer area before planned residential <br /> development has begun. <br /> (6 ) A six-foot high chain link fence shall be installed on Wingra's <br /> entire south and west boundaries to protect neighborhood children from danger. <br /> (7 ) Extraction and crushing operations shall cease when Wingra has <br /> produced an amount of crushed limestone adequate to fulfill its contractual <br /> requirements for the 18-151 and Verona By-Pass projects, and reclamation shall <br /> be completed within one ( 1 ) year after crushing has ceased. <br /> (8 ) Bond shall be posted by Wingra and its blaster in an amount <br /> sufficient to ensure performance of all C.U.P. requirements and to cover <br /> any property damage claims that may result from blasting and extraction <br /> operations.
