This proposed mineral extraction site is within the Central urban Service Area and planned for <br /> low-density residential development in the Town of Verona. It is also adjacent to existing residential <br /> development to the south, and existing mineral extraction sites to the north and east. <br /> The proposal is to limit the mineral extraction for the Verona Bypass highway project. <br /> This could be compatible for a limited time period with adequate erosion control because of the steep <br /> slopes.
