Wisconsin Department of Transportation <br /> ///IIIIII0 TRANSPORTATION DISTRICT 1 <br /> 2101 Wright Street <br /> October 20, 1993 Madison,WI 53704-2583 <br /> Dane County Zoning Department <br /> Mr. Lyman Anderson, Chair <br /> Room 116, City-County Bldg <br /> Madison, WI 53709 <br /> Dear Mr. Anderson: <br /> We have reviewed the Application for Rezone Petition#5746 requesting rezoning to residential. <br /> In February of this year, we met the developer and discussed specific concern with him. <br /> At this time the Department wishes to forward the following concerns: <br /> • In general, the Department does not like the idea of the potential plat. <br /> • We will impose maximum setbacks. <br /> • We asked that the frontage road be removed from its proximity to Hwy 12 and that <br /> has been done. <br /> • There will be no direct access to Hwy 12. <br /> • There is a possible future noise concern. <br /> • Lateral access controls will be imposed on Tetvia Rd to Cedar Crest. <br /> We wish to ask that you apply the appropriate ordinance in the decision making process for this <br /> application.
