Michael Clayton set the West 1/4 corner of Section 3 on a straight line between the SW
corner of Section 3, a railroad spike, and a point 33.66 feet East of a concrete monument located at the SW
corner of Section 34 (Town of Pleasant Springs). The North-South position was
established by the fenceline occupation to the West. I was unable to find the monument described on a
previous tie sheet for this location, although the ties were found. No information was on the previous tie sheet
to substantiate its location, nor was any data available to justify the previous location.
July 10, 1989 -George Weir found the aluminum monument representing the West 1/4 corner of Section 3 as
shown by J. Michael Clayton and all ties were still intact.
(j) I, Kevin C.
